New Year and a New Challenge

Last year, I challenged myself to read a picture book a day to my students every day for the whole school year. The experience was wonderful. My students showed a new love for books  and for reading but I noticed something disturbing about my own classroom library.  It lacked diverse picture books. So this year I'm challenging myself to read a diverse picture book to my students every day. This blog will track my progress.
